Let’s meet on the Grand Place, the beating heart of Lille since the Middle Ages, and let the cobblestones, the bricks and the stones tell you the eventful history of the city, from the Counts of Flanders to the present day.

Discover who the Goddess is, and who's watching us from the top of La Voix du Nord or the Vieille-Bourse. Let’s then venture into the picturesque cobbled streets of the Vieux-Lille, and I’ll share (almost) all their secrets.

The tour will end outside Cathedral Notre-Dame de-la-Treille: once you’ve seen its astonishing façade, you’ll probably want to step inside to discover all its wonders, unless you prefer to keep strolling around, indulge in shopping or simply sit at a pavement café and enjoy the good-natured atmosphere of the most Flemish of French cities.
